Accounts report type

The accounts report type page helps users organize and classify various accounts into broader groups. This makes financial reporting and analysis more systematic and efficient.

Features

1. Chart Of Account Category Table

Displays categories with the following details:

  • Name: The name of the account category (e.g., Income, Assets, Liabilities).
  • Report Type: The type of report the category belongs to (e.g., financial summaries or balance sheets).
  • Debit: The total debit value for the category.
  • Credit: The total credit value for the category.

2. Pagination

Navigate through the list using pagination controls (« ‹ 1 › »). Each page shows up to 5 entries for better readability.

3. How to Delete Categories

  1. Select Categories: Tick the checkboxes next to the categories you wish to remove.
  2. Delete: Click Delete Selected and confirm the action to finalize deletion.

4. How to Use the Chart Of Account Category Table

  1. View Account Details: Browse the table to see the name, report type, debit, and credit for each category.
  2. Analyze Data: Review the totals for debit and credit to understand the financial position of the categories.

5. How to Create

Access the create options using the Create button

1. Input Fields

  • Name in Arabic: Enter the name of the account category in Arabic.
  • Name in English: Provide the name of the account category in English.

2. Actions

  • Save: Click this button to save the newly created account category into the system.
  • Back to List: Use this button to navigate back to the Chart of Account Category list.

6. How to Apply Filters

  1. Access Filter Options: Use the Create Filter option to refine the displayed data based on specific criteria.
  2. Apply Filter: Input filter values and click Search to narrow down results.

A: Deleted categories cannot be restored. Double-check before confirming deletion.
