DevSharp ERP – Accounting Dashboard Manual

Dashboard

1. Getting Started

  • Navigate to /Admin and log in using your credentials.
  • Make sure your role (e.g., Accountant, Finance Manager) has access to the accounting dashboard.
  • You can switch language preferences from your user profile settings (e.g., English, Arabic).

2. Initial Configuration

  • Go to Company Settings and enter name, address, tax ID, and upload logo.
  • Select fiscal localization package appropriate for your country (e.g., UAE VAT).
  • Define your Chart of Accounts or import an existing one in CSV format.

3. Banking

  • From the Banking menu, click “Add Bank Account” to configure accounts.
  • If supported, connect to your bank for automatic statement import.
  • Use the “Reconcile” feature to match bank transactions with journal entries.

4. Invoicing

  • Create Customer Invoices from the Sales tab and send them via email or PDF.
  • Record Vendor Bills manually or via OCR upload.
  • Issue Credit Notes for returns, discounts, or corrections.

5. Payments

  • Register payments received from customers and reconcile them with invoices.
  • Schedule and record payments made to vendors.
  • Support for multiple payment methods: Bank Transfer, Cheque, Cash, etc.

6. Tax Configuration

  • Add tax rates (e.g., VAT 5%) under Settings → Taxes.
  • Use fiscal positions to apply tax exemptions or special rates.
  • Generate Tax Reports for compliance and filing.

7. Reports

  • Access Balance Sheet, Profit & Loss, and Cash Flow reports.
  • Use Aged Receivables and Payables to track outstanding amounts.
  • Create custom reports using the built-in report designer.

8. Advanced Features

  • Enable multi-currency support in Settings for international transactions.
  • Use Analytic Accounts to track cost centers and project-based expenses.
  • Create budgets and monitor budget vs actual from the Budgets menu.
