The Sales Orders page is designed to help businesses efficiently manage customer requests for goods or services. It enables users to create, organize, filter, and track sales orders, ensuring a seamless workflow and clear documentation of transactions.

A. How to Create a Sales Order
Customer Selection:
Use the Select From List dropdown to choose an existing customer.
If not listed, click on Add Customer to manually register a new customer.
Reference Number:
Select a Reference Number from the dropdown list or input a new reference manually.
Currency: Select the currency from the dropdown list, then write the amount in the field next to it.
Key Dates:
Transaction Date: Enter the sales order's creation date under Date (Default: 04/02/2025).
Due Date: Set the payment deadline in the Due Date field.
B. Items
Add Existing Item: Select previously defined items from the database.
Add New Item: Create new item entries with full customization.
Get Reference Items: Retrieve items from related documents like vendor bills or reference journals.
Item Table Columns:
Item: Name/description of the product/service.
Unit: Measurement unit.
The Price: Unit price.
The Quantity: Number of units.
Final Price: Unit price x quantity.
Taxes: Tax rate applied.
Tax Value: Calculated tax amount.
Price Include Tax: Indicates if price includes taxes.
Summary Calculations:
Total: Combined value of items before taxes.
Total Taxes: Aggregate tax amount.
The Total: Grand total including taxes.
C. Creating and Managing Journal Entries
Adding a New Journal Entry: Navigate to "Items Template" or "Others" field, input required Account Name.
Entering Financial Data: Fill in Debit and Credit fields, include applicable Taxes.
Reviewing Net Tax Payable: Ensure NET TAX PAYABLE reflects the correct value.
D. How to Filter Sales Orders
Number: Enter the sales order number.
Customer PO Reference: Input the PO reference number.
Project: Use Select From List dropdown.
Customer: Select a customer.
Date Range: Use From and To fields.
Due Date Range: Specify Due Date From and Due Date To.
Location: Select a location.
Actions
Search: Click Search after entering filters.
Clear Filters: Reset all filters using the Clear Filters button.
E. How to Manage Sales Order Status
Review the Status column in the list of sales orders.
Recognize the two statuses:
Draft: The order can be edited.
Posted: The order is finalized and cannot be modified.
To update status, select the order and adjust its properties.
F. Navigating Through Entries
Use pagination controls at the bottom to view more entries.
By default, 5 entries are displayed per page; adjust as needed.
Scroll through pages using navigation arrows: «, ‹, ›, ».
G. How to Delete Sales Orders
Select sales orders to be deleted by checking the boxes.
Click the Delete Selected button.
Confirm deletion to permanently remove the selected orders.
