This guide is for Site Engineers using the DevSharp ERP system. It will walk you through the primary functions of managing your assigned projects, conducting inspections, and recording your findings directly from the mobile or web application.

1. Accessing Your Projects

Your dashboard is the starting point for all activities.

  • Step 1: Upon logging in, you will land on the Projects screen, which lists all projects assigned to you.

  • Step 2: You can also view projects categorized by Project Clients (e.g., Commercial, Residential) for easier filtering.

  • Step 3: Select the project you need to work on.

2. Understanding Project Phases

Each project in DevSharp ERP is structured into phases for organized management.

  • After selecting a project, navigate to the Phases section.
  • Common project phases include Planning, Deployment, and Maintenance, each with a "View Tasks" option.

  • Click "View Tasks" to see the specific tasks and inspections required for that phase of the project.

3. Conducting an Inspection

The inspection module is a core tool for ensuring quality and compliance on site. An inspection consists of three main parts: a Check List, Images, and a Signature.

Part A: The Check List

  • Step 1: From a project task, start a new inspection. You will see the Check List tab by default.
  • Step 2: The check list contains items that need to be verified (e.g., "Check material," "Check Flooring," "Clean site").
  • Step 3: Review each item on site and tap the corresponding checkbox (□) to mark it as complete.

Part B: Capturing Images

  • Step 1: Navigate to the Images tab within the inspection.
  • Step 2: Tap the "ADD IMAGE" button to take a new photo using your device's camera or select an existing image from your gallery.
  • Step 3: Use images to document work progress, highlight issues, or provide proof of compliance.
  • Step 4: There is a "Comments..." field where you can add notes related to the images or the inspection in general.

Part C: Providing Signature

  • Step 1: Navigate to the Signature tab.
  • Step 2: As the Contractor Engineer, use your finger or a stylus to draw your signature in the designated area.
  • Step 3:
    • Tap "CLEAR" to erase and start over if needed.
    • Important: You must tap "SAVE SIGNATURE" to store the signature with this inspection. A note on the screen reminds you: "please click on save signature in order to save signature before proceeding."

4. Finalizing and Submitting the Inspection

  • Once the Check List is filled, Images are added, and the Signature is saved, you can proceed.
  • Tap the "NEXT" button to move through the inspection steps.
  • After completing all three sections, a final "SAVE AND SEND" button will be available. Tapping this submits the completed inspection report to the system, notifying relevant managers and updating the project's status.

Summary of Key Actions

  1. Select a Project from your list.
  2. Navigate to the correct Phase and View Tasks.
  3. Start an Inspection and complete the three tabs:
    • Check List: Mark all applicable items.
    • Images: Add photographic evidence and comments.
    • Signature: Draw, save, and submit your signature.
  4. Save and Send the final report.

By following this workflow, you ensure that all site activities are properly documented, approved, and tracked within the DevSharp ERP system.
