Introduction

The Items Page is designed to help administrators manage and oversee product details effectively. It includes options for filtering, reviewing, and managing items in a structured table view.

Table Columns

  • Name: The name of the product.
  • Type: Indicates the type of product (e.g., Default, Consumable).
  • Category: Specifies the category the product belongs to.
  • Current Step: Describes the next action or phase required for the product.

Key Features

  1. Entries Per Page: Displays up to 5 entries per page for easy navigation.
  2. Pagination: Use "« ‹ 1 › »" buttons to browse through product records.
  3. Delete Selected: Enables removal of specific products from the system.

Filtering Products

  1. Click Filter at the top of the page.
  2. Apply filter options:
    • Product Name
    • Product Type
  3. Click Search to update the table based on the selected filters.

Creating a Product

  1. Click Create to begin a new product entry.

Fields and Their Descriptions

  1. Name: Enter the name of the product.
  2. Unit:
    • Specify the unit of measurement for the product (e.g., piece, kilogram).
    • Indicate whether the product can be sold or purchased.
  3. Type: Select the product type from the dropdown list (e.g., Default, Consumable).
  4. Vendor:
    • Choose an existing vendor from the dropdown list.
    • Use Add Vendor to input new vendor details.
  5. BarCode: Enter the barcode for the product, if applicable.
  6. Category: Select the category the product belongs to from the dropdown list.
  7. Sales Price: Specify the price at which the product will be sold.
  8. Tax: Indicate the applicable tax percentage.
  9. Cost: Enter the cost of the product.

Actions

  • Save: Save the product details for further editing or review.
  • Back To List: Return to the main products list without saving changes.

Tips for Efficiency

  • Regularly review products in the Draft status to ensure timely processing.
  • Use filters to quickly locate specific products, especially for large datasets.
  • Double-check product details for accuracy.
