Assets
1. Introduction
The Asset Management page within HRM | Admin CP is designed to help administrators monitor and manage organizational assets effectively. An asset is defined as any resource with economic value that an individual, corporation, or country owns or controls under the expectation of future benefit. In addition to maintaining asset data, the page also provides a snapshot of employee records to contextualize asset ownership or allocation where needed.
2. Page Overview and Key Components
Upon accessing the Asset page, you will see the following components:
Header Area:
User Greeting: Displays the logged-in user (e.g., “Welcome [email protected]”).
Language and Password Options: Options to change the interface language or update your password are immediately accessible.
Main Action Buttons:
Create: A button to add a new asset.
Filter: A tool for narrowing down asset records based on specific criteria.
Informational Box:
A brief explanation of an asset is provided for users who need clarity on what qualifies as an asset within the system.
Summary Counters:
Displays statistics such as the total number of employees and assets. For example, you might see counters like “102 Employees” and “0 Asset”.
Asset Data Table:
A table meant to list asset entries with headers such as “Name” and “Employee”. In the current snapshot, it may indicate “No data available in table”, meaning there are no asset records yet.
Pagination Controls:
Navigation tools (e.g., « ‹ › ») which allow you to browse through multiple pages if the number of assets exceeds the set entries per page.
Bulk Action Option:
Delete Selected: A control to remove one or more selected asset records in bulk.
3. Creating and Managing Assets
Creating New Assets

Step 2: Fill out the asset creation form with details such as asset name, reason of request, associated employee, type, and other relevant data.
Step 3: Submit the form to add the asset to the database. The new entry will then appear in the asset table.
Editing Existing Assets
Access Record Details: If assets are listed, select an asset from the table to open its detailed view.
Update Information: Modify the asset details as necessary.
Save Changes: Confirm updates to ensure the asset information remains current.
4. Filtering and Searching Assets
The Filter functionality helps you search and refine your asset list by:
Sort Parameters: Apply filters based on name, or associated employee.
Result Refresh: Once filters are applied, the asset table will automatically refresh to display the relevant records.
This step is particularly useful as your asset database grows, allowing for rapid navigation and management of specific assets.
5. Pagination and Bulk Operations
Pagination
Navigation: Use the pagination controls at the bottom of the asset table to move between pages of asset records.
Entries Per Page: The interface shows a fixed number of entries per page (e.g., 5 entries). Adjust your view if additional options are provided.
Bulk Operations
Delete Selected:
To perform bulk actions, select multiple asset records using the checkboxes (if available).
Click the Delete Selected button to remove all checked entries. This function is useful for managing outdated or redundant asset data.
6. Troubleshooting and FAQs
