This manual provides a detailed overview of how to manage payment records in the system, including creating, updating, filtering, and deleting payments.

The Payments page allows users to handle both incoming and outgoing transactions. Users can view, filter, and manage payment statuses efficiently.
1. How to View and Update Payment Status
- Locate the Status column in the payment records.
- Identify pending payments in the list.
- Select a payment to update its status.
2. Features
- Create Payments: Record new payment transactions with all necessary details.
- Filter Payments: Locate specific records using filters like type, status, or amount.
3. How to Create a Payment
- Access the Page: Navigate to the Create page under the Payments section.
- Input Payment Details: Fill in fields such as amount, type, date, note, and reference number.
- Select Customer: Choose an existing customer or add a new one.
- Choose Additional Options: Select transaction type, date, currency, and attach files if needed.
- Accounting Information: Choose journal and bank account as required.
- Is Cheque? Enable this if the payment was made by cheque.
- Upload Files: Attach any related files.
4. How to Filter Payments
- Number: Enter a payment number to locate a transaction.
- Payment Type: Filter by type (e.g., Send Money, Receive Money).
- Date Range: Use From and To fields to narrow results.

- Search: Click to apply filters and show results.
- Clear Filters: Resets all filters to default state.
5. Navigating Through Entries
- Use the pagination at the bottom to switch pages.
- Adjust the view to show up to 5 entries per page.
6. How to Delete Payments
- Select the payment records to delete.
- Click Delete Selected to remove them.
- Confirm deletion to finalize the process.

- Q: Can deleted payments be restored?
